Google Earth is a great app, i have varying bouts of enthusiasm with it though, great entertainment when visitors are over. A better program is Nasas World Wind, but the file size is huge compared to GE and you need a pretty fast computer to make it run smooth.

Some s/shots are attached from GE after reading Buggys 1st post.
