As a former Marine Biologist, I am quite suprised to see such a fine and rare example of an epiplanktonic cephalopod (that would be 'squid' to the layman). They are very rarely seen with such obvious and discriminating optical and breathing organs. This one seems to be quite an exciting example, it shows many base evolutionary features of the order suzukii geessexahlis, but appears to have the motive appendages of the more primitive hondai ceebeeahlis.
