    with a bit of mula, there ain't nothing you can't fix..
    as for the price of what a crashed honda is worth, well, I can go to most roadsides and get one..
    wouldn't know any prices

    well the man in question is an Insurance Laywer... so i guess if he knew a loop hole - he would have found it!

    just kidding. he's a bloody good bloke. its a real shame.

    Apart from the money issue I don't see a problem...it was a Honda he destroyed right?

    Hell unless It has like a pole through it you should be able to rebuild the sucker and at least have a bike....

    Whats the about asking price btw??

    i asked about that and he's just not sure. it might end up going on trademe for a $1 reserve so if it does i will post a link. i mentioned to him that a certain bronze gixxer was purchased after a crash here for (if memory and rumor serves) around 6k and he seemed okayish about this price.

    but when you write a check for 21k for a bike you cant even ride anymore - it will be a hard road taking 6grand for it - even if thats what it is actually worth

    i'm sure you understand.

    Agree but the vendor accepted some of the risk as well by allowing the test ride and if he had Insurance then he should have claimed.......the Lawyer guy would have had to stump up the excess and even offered to pay the lost Ncd.......is it me or do I see the otherside of things?
