Just lie back and relax. A trip to the dentist is worse. I had mine done in September last year and the worst part was just the mental thing of having your wedding tackle handled by another guy.
The best part is a couple of months later when you get to... err ... 'provide a sample'. When you look at the sample bottle before-hand and try it out for size it seems a doddle but actually trying keep everything lined up while you do the necessary to produce the sample is a real hoot!

Dissappointingly it's only been from guys... but it's all been supportive etc. There seems to be a comeradery is this somewhat indelicate (and let's face it... funny) topic.

Cheers all. Think of me 11:00am tomorrow in the birthing stirrups... thinking of anything but England I'm willing to bet LOL!

    MDU

    Mate well done...
This is the first I knew of what you were doing since coming across this thread...
I have ALL signatures turned off on KB.....

Good luck with the little operation mate.. all over and done with in a few minutes... I wish a lot more blokes would do this... since women have to go throu so much more than what a bloke ever will do.

Women get to carry the baby and give birth.
They raise the baby... (cos the men are at work or buggered off)
Men lay back and think of england...

Women have to go throu so much and why should they. They always have to have to go on the pill or have their tubes tied or suffer with having to have a hysterectomy... or have other women probs for a long time.
Just so that they don't produce any more babies.

So hats off to you mate. You are one hell of a guy to actually sit back and think about what women go throu..

PLus well done to any other guy that also thinks about what women have to go throu and make this decision as well.

You will be back riding in a week mate...after your op.
women who have a hysterectomy wont be back riding a bike for 8 weeks..
    Guys see the difference.

the big question surely must be "while he keep the area 'maintained' after it gets shaved tommorrow - or will he let it go back to nature?"

Cheers... small point though - chek Quasi's thread about IRD and child support... men feel the pain too bud.

I missed my little boy's first birthday, AND his first day at school, and the day to day changes happening on our kids, and their Mum gets to stay home and see all these things (and enabling her to do that is the greatest gift I can give... I'd have it no other way).

Anyhoo... let's not drag it off topic. There's room for that debate elsewhere.

Did I mention I'm having my nuts disconnected?

oh dude - you've got to do maintain the gardens. You can't fully appreciate a statue surrounded by weeds... and the birds prefer it to perch on ...
