Lump lingered last in line for brains,

Yeah mate seriously thinking about it... would've grabbed it but took one for a test ride today and the handling just didn't feel that much better than the 1000.

It didn't have the same small, light feeling that the '98 had. Admittedly the suspension settings felt abit soft, and that OE rear tyre leaves abit to be desired, found it's limits pretty easy.

Power is great, it'll still wheelie in second gear at 120k's under power. Does take abit more effort and careful timing compared to the 1000.

Although it felt like I was going faster, I think that's just cause you're working the engine harder. When I glanced at the speedo I was carrying similar corner speed to the 1000. That said, the 750 would be great between Waihi and Whangamata.

Still, a beautiful bike to ride and although it didn't 'blow me away with it's sublime handling' as I had hoped, it's still a more 'involving' bike than the 1000. And at $11000 this is a fucken steal! Argh!!! decisions.... this is so tempting...

    What to do?
It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
    everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off

I can't buy it I'm crying with the crowd in the corner...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

I bet ya a million dollars you didn't find its limit or any where near it dude... I've ridin a bike like yours [test rode]and own the said 750k5... the 750 is in a league way above the thou for handling...but the power difference is very very large...750 is closer to the 600 here...

I'll make a bet with ya though....I beat ya $200 you would be faster around taupo on the 750 than your thou? u up for it?

and whats more you'll find it easyier to ride fast too....
