The Infringement Notice basically forces the person responsible for the noise to abate it and to do so for a 72 hour duration. If further complaints are received after the notice has been issued then the NCO returns and asess the situation. If he deems that you have breached the Infringement Notice then Police are requested and on their arrival whateve ris making the noise will be ceased.
Swanny do you work for noise control at rodney district council or have you been severly brain washed by bullshit district council bureaucracy i will point out to you that the second NCO that came did not come to see me first he arrived with the police in there car and they just took the stereo. My stereo noise control was set at 1/4 or a bit less volume so i dont beleive we where to loud concidering the time of day.and may i point out also the complaint came from a neighbour that works for north shore city council so i would say it is a bit of i'll scratch your back if you scratch mine.Sorry noel for rail roading your post.one other thing maybe you would like to come to our leaving party and you can give us the heads up when we are becoming to loud.I would like know where the cops were when this bastards cut brake, clutch and oil cables.Iguess someone had there stereo up to loud and they where to busy taking it.

They had nothing to do so got pissed, borrowed the guys gun (he was at work) and started taking shots.

The police would not respond. She moved the grand kids to the other side of the house and went down the Hendersom police station.

They dispatched a car with 2 cops in it. Both of them got beaten up, then it was all on. But it took that to get a serious response.

So don't rely on the gun trick.

You could however say someone was speeding, that orta do it.

    Bling your way!

    HAHAHA

I would never work for the Rodney District Council, I worked for the security company that had the after hours contract which involved the Noise Control side of things.

The Council has quite a good 'employee environment' but its run like two kids running a lemonade stand.

I thought it was Noel who had the problem with Noise Control, seen as so it was you, and because its the Rodney Council, fight the bastards. You'll probably get money out of it and they wont screw with you again. I know a lot of information that would help you too.
