Nope, its the one where the Sniper (Jackson) yells for his mate (Parker) to get out before the tank blows up the bell tower

ok - *deep breath* ........in no particular order

the Shawshank Redemption --- i just LOVE it when corrupt, bullying ,authoritarian beaurocracy gets creamed
all of the Green Mile until the end .....[when it got hollywoodish-let's-tie-up-all-the-loose-ends......... the bit with the mouse at the end was ....woulda been a stronger movie if it had been left to the watcher to ponder what it all meant]
Point Break ---- the last scene when Keanu Reeves lets Patrick Swayze go out into the big surf and you just KNOW he ain't coming back
Patton - gets my vote for 'most grown up Yank movie' - they resisted the temptation to lionise him and showed the mans weakness as well
The Scarlet Pimpernel [with Anthony Andrews] because the characterisations border on charactacture and are just soooooooooo damn good
Shanghai Noon - because its hilarious
The Quick & the Dead [with Sharon Stone and Gene Hackman] gets my vote as the ultimate western
GI Jane - because it validates my cynicism about big government [anywhere]
Cool Hand Luke ------ because he reminds me of - erm - me.... "What we've got here is failure to communicate "
The Great Escape - because it's new every time i watch it ----- i KEEP expecting him to get over that fence
Henry V [with Kenneth Branagh] - has my vote for best battle scene AND best love scene [the one at the end .... scrumptious! .... even though the goil IS wearing beige ]

Ghost in the Shell 2: Inocence.

The scene where Batou goes into the grocery store to buy dog food but slowly become suspicious of everyone inside. The tension builds and the peaple in the store continue to do things that make him more and more suspicious and eventually everything breaks out into a fight. Hand to hand and weapons used store items flying everywhere and being shot up. He manages to take out a few of them without killing him but when he goes for the cashier guy with the shotgun he pulls his own gun and points it right at cahsiers forhead. Then everything friezes for a moment then changes and we find out that no one was trying to kill him he was halucinating due to someone hacking (in the computer sense) into his cyberbrain and making him see these things.

Most of the drama doesn't come across when you just type it out but the whole movie was very well done. If you get the chance to see it, you should. And yes it's anime but don't let that put you off.

For me the final scene in Vanishing Point where Kowalski commits suicide. Not the 1990 soft cock remake the 70's original, Vigo Mortensen should have been flayed drawn and quartered for that stinky remake piece of crap.

The cards for sorrow scene in the Rocky Horror picture show......

The planet of the apes scene in Jay and Silent Bob strike back.........

Oh and all the special effects in Torque made me cry with laughter.
