The Pam and Tommy home movie: Below the deck of the boat is a pretty powerful scene but when he used his wanger to sound the boat horn... PRICELESS.

I'm surprised that no one else has mentioned this,
but the final scenes in American History X
that is one of the few movies that I have had no desire to move after the credits roll. Left me feeling hollow.

One that makes me cry every time is near the end of the movie "My Life" with Michael Keaton where he's incapacitated in bed and his father is shaving him and he finally admits to his father that he loves him

Guys, get this film out and watch it with your girl and she'll need a lot of "comforting" afterwards.

Nah, he was talking about the scene when the jerry sniper get shot by the yank sniper- the bullet goes right through the 'scope and into his eye.

That knife scene made me wince, you could just feel for the guy as his strength weakened and the jerry slowly pushed the knife through him.

And I hated the loser on the stairs with a rifle - all he had to do was walk into the room and smack the jerry over the head - or shoot him if he felt he wouldn't get his mate underneath.

I guess it was only a movie but life-wasting shit like that DOES happen in war.

it was about a kid who desperately wanted to be on the High School foot ball team. but the coaching staff wouldn't let him cause he was too small.

So he spent the first season taking care of the maintenance around the ground. The next season he was given the job as waterboy.

all the time he trained harder than anybody else.

finally they gave him a place on the team, but for the entire season they wouldn't put him onto the field.

It was his last year at college and it was the last game and there was 40seconds to go. One of the players got injured on the field and the coach was trying to find a replacement. The crowd started yelling this kids name and finally the coach decided to put him on the field.

the kid saved the game by making a crucial tackle in the final seconds.

He spent 3-4 years training and working to play ball and was on the field for like 30seconds.

i cant remember what the movie was called but there was a pretty big lump in my throat watching the end of it.
I think the movie was called Rudy

    2) The end of Get Carter, when having got his revenge he is shot by the hitman.

The first 20 mins of Saving Private Ryan.
The scene in Schindlers List where Schindler sees the little girl in a red dress on a pile of dead Jews. The only splash of colour in the movie.
    And when Bambi's mother dies.

Most powerful scene in a movie? Where Bambi's mother, preparing to sacrifice her own life for his, exhorts him to "Run, and don't look back!" (sobs, uncontrollably)

Yeah right, like deer can talk!

Never heard one say anything when I shot it.

Reembered film quote: "Beans son, lotsa beans, ya gotta eat beans" - the old guy in the desert on Vanishing Point (the REAL one).
Wouldn't want to be stuck in a small hut with THAT windy old bastard, that's for sure.
