    Wink Ready to Go

Well, I am a new member to this site, as having been introduced by a new friend who advised me that here was going to be better to join than one of those 'dating' ones - I thought I would try.
I am a rider of old, having had a few 'hiccups' am now not able to ride my own bike (but hankering so much just the same). I do not have a licence any more - medically removed and not 'given' back yet!
Are there members out there in the areas surrounding me who feel like taking a pilly on occasion for rides, to events etc? I have all the gears, it takes me five minutes to put them on!
My ex lhas gone, with the bike, and I miss terribly my passion and pleasure!
I am looking to meet lots of new people, get out a bit more, and participate in that which we all enjoy - riding!
I am an active member of the Manawatu Ulysses club, but find that rides and events are not that frequent - I feel a little embarrassed to arrive in a 'tin roof'!
Anyone willing to help a lady become more active, I have no hang ups about bikes, the participants and all that we are. I have spent most of my life within the environment and need some pleasure again in my life.

We like girls who can cook!

Seriously though welcome to the site. There'll be a few from up that way able to give you a few 'rides'....

Watch out for Cowpoos though - he likes sheep.

A new bike, ooh, might I suggest a Hyosung Aprilla GV 250, they are beautiful looking cruisers and cheap too. There is a second hand one forsale on Trade Me with an asking price around $4,000 last time I looked. However you can pick these up cheap, around $5,000 - $6,500 for a brand new bike.

Or you could go for the 650cc version, which has a more modern style too it, a very beautiful bike. Being a Ulysess member I'm guessing you must have plenty of willing riders with a spare pillion seat.

    Thumbs up

Good luck in being able to get your license back...
Nothing like having a few 'hiccups' along the way to stop you doing the one thing that you love to do.... thats riding a m/bike.

I hope it won't be too long before you will own your own m/bike again as well.

I am sure that there will be a few KBers down in the wellington/Manawatu area that willing to have you as a pillion on a ride.
Just to give you that thrill of being back on bikes again.

So guys and gals, lets help this lady out...

NO PISSTAKES or ennundo's (sp) from you guys...
This is a genuine call from a pillion, who is wanting to have a ride on a bike.

Welcome aboard shazzygirl, and good luck with getting a ride, your licence back, and then your own bike again.
