    Any Learners/250's/slow riders in Taupo?

Hey all... I'm getting my bike and hopefully gear tomorrow Hopefully I should be confident enough in a few weeks, possibly a month, to start going out into rural roads. So if that's the case are there any people in Taupo who want to go for nice and easy rides around the Taupo area? I was thinking maybe we could go out Oruanui, Aratiatia, Mapara Rds etc.. probably not in one day, but those sort of roads lol. Please PM me if your keen

    Thanks,

    Jaz

I'm learning, and I'm slow. I'm in Rotorua, but BF lives in Taupo, so I'm down that way fairly frequently.
The bike is currently getting repairs, but I'll let you know when it's fixed and I'm going to be down your way on the bike.
Along Poihipi Rd to SH32 and back to Taupo along Whangamata Rd is a nice ride for a learner as well.

    Yeah right............on a ZX10...........??

I'm old and slow, does that count?

Besides you might need some "protection" from all these young bucks!
Seriously though I am usually up for a ride anytime so long as its slow, slow or slow and has frequent stops for coffee. One of my young staff members and his fiancee both have bikes and are both on learners (although despite that he rides better than me......bstrd!) and would probably be keen to ride with you.
    P.M anytime.

Got it!!! !! It it SOOO much fun I've taken it for a lil spin round town, through all the quiet little side streets it certaintly isn't very gutsy.. then again like Kiwifruit said.. it's not the bike, it's the rider .. but it certaintly is fun!!!

So I'll see you all out there... Gunna order my KB badge asap
