Yeah there's nothing quite like a cranking DnB gig. Concord Dawn can usually be counted on to smash it, I'm sure last night was no exception! Noisia and The Upbeats are playing at Sandwiches in 2 weeks time. They've got some crazy grimey tunes. It's going to be at least as good as CD! It's on the night that uni finishes for mid term break so will be huge.

Hate the whole getting home and not being able to sleep tho! BZP is evil shit though. There's a much better legal alternative available these day now which is good.

Good to see some more people gettin out to dnb gigs!

I like their earlier stuff more myself, but they do know how to put together a wicked set live. I went to school with Evan Short way back in the day, really nice guy, quiet and unassuming he had an obsession with sharks, of all things - go figure. Good strong foot-stomping music they do tho, love it.

And drinking + herbals is all bad, they dehydrate you something fierce and the alcohol just mulitplies the effect. For your sanity its best to drink a heap of water or lemonade, coke etc. And keep half a sleeping pill handy for the next day . . . if you can pop that and get a couple of hours sleep around dawn you can still get up and about later on. You kind of get an afterburn effect going on that at least gets you mobile and able to function.
