Does anybody here do DJ work? As in playing songs through computers etc for dances and parties.
Also, what songs go down really well at dance parties and things?

podcasts (via iTunes) are your friend..
I've found and downloaded a few and their anywhere between 40 to 90 minutes long of uninterrupted dance music which I'm addicted to at the moment.. and it's all fresh stuff from around the world
Best stuff I'm addicted to at the moment is 'Orion' and 'Gateway'.. just awesome. In total, you've probably got about 6 hrs of free dance music right there
BJ - I don't use iTunes...Would I be able to get this stuff off Limewire?

There's a few more which aren't too bad, but so far since downloading, I've listened to a few track 20 something times, and I've only had them a few weeks. I'll have to find some more stuff..
Yeah, techno is common stuff, all the regularly played techno anyway.
Loveshack (pass on artist), and J Lo - Lets Get Loud
those are common, along with all the other classic disco stuff
Got DJ Otzy - Hey Baby??

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
Also try the Hed Kandi series, in particular Twisted Disco and Disco Heaven CD's. They've got heaps of the more popular commercial tracks on them that everyone will know and dance to.
Depends what age your catering for. I played Cannibal Corpse and Cradle of Filth at my daughters 4th birthday. The kids loved it.![]()
