    Ok...... so far I have a new battery today, so am going to go home and see if I can get it all working again

    A big THANKS to Kickaha for organising the battery... you are a sweetie

    Arrow Well.

    I'd replace the battery and see what happens, hopefully that will be all and it sounds like the AA dude over analysised(sp) the whole thing.:slap:

    speedygirl --um now ya have a new battery -take ya bike for a ride for say half an hour and check how warm your battery is --most likely all is good but just in case --if its hot to touch you may have a dud reg/rec unit ---funnnily enough I have a brand new one sitting here that just needs wiring in

    I took it for a spin yesterday, but will do so again tonight...see what happens, thanks for the advice
