Welcome thesedays. Got my learners 3 month ago but you've got a long way to go to catch me at 41. I'm just having problems fitting the zimmer frame on the bike at the moment. Any ideas....Originally Posted by thesedays

BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!!
Welcome!
I'm not so sure about the two stroke smell. Maybe it will grow on me.
Have fun learning! I've been learning for almost 2 months now. It's great, I get a little bit better every time I go out. And the trips I would normally make in the car turn into exciting adventures when I go on the bike.
Welcome to KB thesedays! enjoy the site matey.
welcome to the site and to the wide world of motorcycling.
Yes, i must agree, the smell of 2stroke is hard to beat!
Welcome to the site! Ex RG250 Walter Wolf owner here. That bike was Lethal with a capital L. It had a daily habit of the power band cut in moving and trying to throw me off. I respect riders of two smokes as having nuts like churchbells and a deathwish!
Cant beat the smell though, and the maintanence, and the cursing, and the plug fowling, and the heartbreak!

welcome to KB hope you enjoy
asked Mom if I was a gifted child ... she said they certainly wouldn't have paid for me.
The entry point is here, the exit unknown... I suppose I should welcome you, you'll be here for awhile.
So... Welcome. (I hope you've had your shots)
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
we will remember them
Hi Calapop, no mate you never to old, someone once told me 'your only as old as the man you feel', got a little bit disheartened with that cause all the guys I am keen on are always older than me!
I rode many a year prior, had a prob and now just getting the confidence back, and I going to try and do it without a licence! If I travel fast enough the guys in blue wont be able to catch me.
Welcome fellow newby... Im new too ... well if you can call the 3rd day being still new .... hhhhhmmmmmmm
Oh and to all those comments about being old ...I have 2 sayings,
Avoid midlife crisis ... dont grow up (wife recons Ive achieved that one superbly)
and Theres one advantage to Alzheimers, youre always going new places and meeting new people
Welcome....no I don't like the smell, was beside one this morning.....
