27 Nov Bucket Wellington Kaitoke track

    Waahoo, back at Kaitoke!

We've lost general motors to a developer (damn housing) so best we make use of this track while we have it.

Have to make sure we get as many people as possible so if there are some hiding in garages you know about, shout them up.
Don't you look at my accountant.

    29 is a Tuesday ????
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I don't have a bucket but I would like to come along - directions, maps, all that stuff would be good please.

    hey Bert...

as for nylon-you will need to cover any metal surfaces that can come in contact with the surface and put some plastic wine corks in your bar ends.

its pretty easy, just lay your bike on its side and move it around looking for places that come in contact

    Cheers, Glenn

Plastic wine corks don’t really cut it, they come straight out. But a bit of nylon rod turned down with a lathe can be made by any engineer pretty easily. Then just other parts that may touch down in a crash, gear levers etc. The odd skateboard wheel type of thing. Pretty easy when you spend a while thinking about it.

Port st races are an expensive travel for a mixed event on a longer track & I only have a 50 at present. For a full buckets day (or pref 2) on a kart track then I will be keen.

    Blenhiem?????????????
