There is no way you are the slowest and there is now way that tristan is the fastest. Some New guy called N4CR is apparently quite quick.

Naa N4CR is some gay newbie who apparently can't ride. Spends all his money on blond hair dye and making up eastern european sound bites.

Well at your pace maybe... But Puke is one of the most dangerous tracks! Where ever you come off (except for the haipin) You have the chance of hitting the wall, HARD...

But as you said, if you dont push too hard, you will be fine

Easier said than done thats for sure! First session you go quick second you go quicker by the third your on the edge!

But in saying that my first time at any track i usualy take it easy get to know the track build a mental images second time out I start pushing the limits of the corners. After that I tend to have a mental fight with myself to not push it most of the time i loose!

and this guy speaks from experience too

I gotta say JSG, i did 1:28 on the ZXR and going over the hill wasnt exactly fun for me... and that was at 140kmh (ish). What sort of times did you end up getting?

Yeah but Gareth, remember the suspension on your ZXR the day we took it out was absolutely crap so no wonder it scared the bejeezus out of us.

i wasnt going to mention the fact that people said it looked like i was going to crash everytime i came over that hill...

so i suppose that makes our times semi-respectable then

Cool, I look forward to hearing about your ride. Best of luck. But most of all have fun. Take it easy till you learn the track. Doesn't take long, but I reckon you're most likely to have an off in your first couple of laps.

I don't know what times I was getting, I just wanted to try and go faster and improve my riding, also I had no one to time me. 150 was probably the fastest the bike did over the hill - I always chickened out and braked before entering the hill so couldn't accelerate any harder, I need to sort my transition from the last left before the hill onto the right of the hill.

Yeah I had a look at that, but obviously being as slow as a wet week, i missed out. Will be in for the next one tho! Byt hen should have a 636 or gixxer 600, so might be another ball game.

Reasonably confident, every now and again will catch myself doing something dumb such as braking at the worng point...and standing the bike up, but i am getting more used to it. I am keen to get onto a track where i can push harder knowing there isn't an oncoming car or lightpost to hit.
