Bloody hell.. Thats a LOT of falling down! You really gotta stop doing that you know! Hows the poor bugger that got ridden over?

You guys should have gone back the long way round. It was fantastic going over the track and the backroads were pretty much deserted! I think all the HP was down your end on the island!

One funny thing happened though.. I was tooling along Mt Bruce area and gradually reeled in a couple of gang member wannabes. You know, heels first, fingerless gloves dead tortise on the head and the drain pipe off the shed as an exhaust. I wasn't going fast but they were going a little slower until they saw it was an old Moto Guzzi stalking them down.... Well they wern't having that! Oh well, I was just passage making and turned off back onto the back roads after that anyway!

Tooted at you guys at the top of the taka's. Shit there were a lot of you!!! Did Uncle_B promise a lolly scramble and clowns or something?

A shit to hear about the crashes...and cops. Got caught by a mufti that morning at nearly walking-speed. Fortunately a bloody good bugger that let me off.

Apart from the crashes.....due to conditions not stupidity......it was a bloody good ride.
Once we got clear of the bad weather she was plain sailing after that. Back roads after MartinB were great, no traffic and a nice easy pace. Looked like all who were there enjoyed it. Good to see a few new faces. One guy came all the way down from Palmy on a 150 to join us....well done that man.

    Great ride.

Yeah Thanks Uncle B for organising that ride!!
It was so much fun getting to know more people and talk about biking and bikes (naturally)

When i left to go home, i went back to kapiti via grays road and then SH1.

Grays road was nice and dry. Good fun!!

even coming back from featherston over the takas in teh wet was fun. Most fun i have ever had in teh wet!!

Bummed out that I missed the ride... Bloody temperamental 2 strokes, Glenn spent Sat morning trying to crash start my bike but when it made aloud BANG and promptly died I knew it wasnt gonna happen. Kind of lucky in a way, turns out I had no gearbox oil.... *waits for mocking to start*
Anyway I changed the spark plug (myself) yesterday and she's just like a new bike, made a huuge difference! Just gotta sort the tyre out now, im sure ive spent more on my bloody bike than what I paid for it!

Hehe, just glad I didn't decided to go back with you guys from Masterton, by the time I got back to Palmy I had quite enough... At least I'm not still walking like a cowboy.

Thanks for organising the ride, it was great fun!!!

Was that in mufti on the hill run-up?

Man, they must be working hard for Helen's funds.

What, with an average 600 working New Zealanders immigrating to Australia every week.

And the next boatload of "100-200" Cambodian Refugees about to land.

The cops better start pulling some 60+ hour weeks if they're gonna cover all the benefits this government is planning on providing!

    Was his hands shaking???

I don't think it was the cops....... It's the fact he has 10 cats and two dogs now. Lack of sleep I'd say.

Strange I keep thinking the same thing. But then half of mine seem to be fairing repairs
You know you had a good nite when you have to ask someone if you had a good nite.
