I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy
Northland roads are pretty sweet, they get weather like that all the time...Originally Posted by Uncle B

Already explained as per different thread. Becides Swanny, thats the benefit of not organising the ride, you should sit back and enjoy.![]()

Not trying to but in or anything, but food is important (to me at least, which must be obviousOriginally Posted by Qkchk

I was charged $3.50 for a pie today ... what a national disgrace !
What happened to the days of $1.60 steak and cheese pies.
EDIT: Just to put things clear. My previous post suggested that the amount of bikes attending be used to the groups advantage (i.e. Cheap food).
There is only one man to blame for this and his name is Helen Clark!! May his armpits be infested with the fleas of a thousand camels :POriginally Posted by swanny
Built for speed, not for comfort
On the last ride, when custard had his crash,Sharkys had to get another staff member to come help with the food orders & there werent that many of us.Originally Posted by Qkchk
It would pay to give them a call.
Also have you got the main stops sorted?Maybe Paparoa, custard corner, dargaville (for quick gas stop),sharkys(lunch),opononi... something like that.
Hope the weather is like today next sunday,It is a minter this morning, cant wait.
I really hope this awesome weather holds, what an amazing day!!!![]()
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
who leaves first? slow or fast?
1) fast leave first wait 10 secounds then slow group heads off. when we get to a destination slow group arrives five minutes later or less.
2) slow group gets a 5 minute head start. fast group possibly overtaking the slow. or we all turn up at the same time. causing conjestions, petrol problems and or food.
so i take it senario 1 is the go?
1 would probably be the go....
