We're on the countdown to Sunday and from what I hear everything seems to be coming together nicely.

Thanks to the efforts of a lot of people behind the scenes and the great leadership of Qkchk and her partner in crime Custard

TL Rider is busy putting my gear shifter back on which will be handy

I thought it might be a good idea if we stuck a big bright sticker on the back of the jackets of the riders who know exactly where we are going on the day, (TL Rider already has his sussed

) then, if you dont know and spot one of us at least you'll know you are following someone who does know, not only where their going, but the road too.
We will be riding through Paparoa Road on the way to meet you Jaffa lot so we will know exactly the road conditions to lead you back through. If anyone is travelling the Whg-Darg Road, the Darg-Waipoua Road; the Omapere-Kaikohe Road or the Old Russell Road please let us know the road conditions as these roads are all some of the choices for the day.
The ride for the Jaffas will be about 1,000kms, if we do the full loop. Did everyone know that New Zealand is 1600Kms long as the crow flies, so we are all just riding around in little circles up here then I guess

Ya going down Otaika Valley Rd? Cause they just ripped up the tarseal for road widening at the Maungatapere end today.

Oh yeah Rob,be aware that there will be corners involved on this ride buddy. Did 'em training wheels come through?

training wheels will be gone and will make better effort this time chris. Atleast this time i wont have to get up at 4.30 in the morning so might be a bit fresher on the uptake as well. Anyways dont feel sad there will be other rainbow bikes around

Don't panic peoples...the "full loop" is totally optional and only a thought atm plus weather and time allowing.
There are plenty of places to peel off for those that don't feel up to a 1000km blast but it would be awesome to get pics of the whole Crew up in beautiful Opononi!!

There's a good 10+ from up these ways that aren't on KB but believe me they are entertaining to watch....that is if you can keep up

I'm not coming remember. Even if I do (which I wont) I'll probably cut too many people up and have to do too many of my trademark passes which I think are fine but others get scared of...........

Take care - 70 bikes on those roads will be a traffic jam. You might as well invite newbies now as the pace will be nowhere near what it was on our last two times.
