    ALL SYSTEMS ARE GO! Weather forecast for tomorrow is for plenty of rubber laid on the Northern roads

    RIDE IS DEFINITELY ON PEOPLE!

    Auckland and South crews, we will c u all at Shell Westgate @ 8.30am WE WILL BE LEAVING @ 9am, so don't be late or you will be playing 'catch-ups'.

    Don't forget to bring a camera, if you have one - 50+ bikes will be a sight to see

    Holy shit...seems like the whole Akl crew is going to this, so I'd better jump in and represent for the CBD.

    Anyone know how long this will be? Time and km's.

    I just dropped $80 on fuel doing the Coro thing today...hoping this will be a bit shorter.

    I think someone mentioned for Aklers this could be a 1000km trip. What do ya ride to use $80 worth of gas ? ( that's 800+km for me 636)

    ffffffark...

    Ride a CBR929...used about 9 or 10L/100km today I think. Was just flicking in to top gear for most of the straights too (still throttle fairly wide open though). Think my next bike may be a 600, way more sensible for the road.

    I STRONGLY recommend that you do the Waipoua Forest through to Opononi with us though!! It's just under 300kms from Auckland to Opononi.

    Thank you for those kind words crashe, camara is charging as i type. This will be the largest group (barring bridge ride) we have been with so really looking forward to the experience, and meeting some more kber's.....

    Those who are riding 250's and have 'self-invited' themselves, you will not be welcome to join us and we will not wait for you at the intersections and/or disclose the route. ONLY INVITED 250 RIDERS ARE WELCOME! If you havn't been invited, you had plenty of time to contact myself or Custard - Sorry, this was explained earlier in the thread and the decision is final.

    Please respect our wishes If you binn your on your own This is our ride and it is intended for the bigger cc bikes even tho we have some 250cc coming they were invited by the organisers
