I got a puncture after paparoa thanks to shitty tubes.Guy on the black bird with the white mirrors and the no shame radar detector. i hope i wasnt too much of a burden. riding 2 up with was hell fun. you really knew the raod and wernt afraid to ride quick even with me on the back.
Thanks to Mike and Alex at Marauder Suzuki in Wangarei for fixing the puncture.
You're a legend for that .As for the riding i did get to do it wasnt too bad... kept getting dropped in the straights which was annoying.

Thanks too Custard Quick Chick for putting on the ride and TL Rider for letting me come along.

RIP to the rider Who died.

Yeah Swanny got to the lookout at least.

Great ride, thanks Qkchk, Custard, TLRider and the other organisers. Great roads, love to do the Forest in summer though, bit too damp today for me. That road out of Paparoa was fun!!

Some of us oldies(?) turned back from the lookout and had a good ride back. I'm the most sore I've ever been on a bike...and "only" 656km. Hope the rest of the crew get home safely

Paul, Your brake lights are real bright!! I couldn't see anything if you braked... just when it was important to too.. Good riding with you today!

Was also fun following SpankMe in the dark... Flames out the exhaust and all!!

Fuck yes, longest time i have ever spent in the saddle, had a great time, lots of sore bits, BIG thanks to Custard/Qkchk/TL and all the support crew (those pointer people at coners) saw some legend riding today, was great being passed by so many bikes, first time night riding and on the new bike and in the rain as we left Whanga's. Stop there for a coffee and visor clean. 64 was the count up at Paparoa and i think 71 at Bayley's.

Yeah I was a bit late, I thought I'd take a shortcut through Wainui but there was a Cycle race on with ignorant fucks hogging the road.

Despite being fixed as T.E.C for most of the ride I managed to hang back and enjoy the Forest. The two wheel slides were fun and I almost managed to get the last of my chicken strips gone. That is one awesome road for 250's.

On the way back from Kaikohe I gave Dover the learn through some twisties, felt sorry for him so I pulled over to let him pass

Even passed TL Rider on the outside again

Flat tyres, over heating engines, mufflers falling off bikes, first corner bins and plenty of wheelies to keep the kids waving on the side of the road happy.

Cheers QKCHK, Custard and TL Homo.

Almost makes for a perfect day, apart from Christine taking another Rider.

    R.I.P.

That rider was me, and the "Blackbird" was "Roxanne" my old CRB1000F (LOL). Ya pillioned well. Big thanks ta Maunder Suzuki. That man saved the day for me, Kevin and you SkOrM. Kevin's new Jinxxer kept blowing fuses (I had stopped 3x on the way down Oak/Pap road due to Kevin's Bike). The Maunder Dude had loaned Kevin his bike and was waiting for his Ute when I add SkOrM's flatty to his list of pick-ups. Thank you heaps Maunder Dude, by picking up SkOrM ya saved my riding day. Just can't thank ya enough for that.
Had ta stop again for a Naked Yammy with a busted pipe just after we left Baileys Beach, so was hammering "Roxanne" again ta regain the pack.
Thank god I didn't have anyone else I had to stop for after that, and really enjoyed my blast from Omapere ta Kaikohe and then ma hommie road, Mangakahia/Twin Bridges Rd(nothing was going ta stop me on ma Hommie road ).
All in all a good day.

The saddest thing at the end of the day was ta hear of the downed bikers in Helensville. RIP.

Bloody fantastic day. A HUGE thanks to all those who helped organise everything.

Got a little rained on on the way home but nothing to serious. Had heaps of fun and I think I'm slowly but surely getting faster.

Oh and the hawiian shirt made another appearance.

Oh and boomer does this look familiar
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...
