Totally agree, MR passed me on a left-right s-bend and I was both very impressed (a bit jelous) but at no stage did I feel there was any danger, awesome riding MR!!!
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Thumbs up What a great day!!!

Big thanks to all involved, especially those who stood at turnoffs and pointed the way! I had an awesome day (and night) and am well privileged to have been invited.
Don't think I got to meet as many as I would have liked, but it is hard when you are a back runner and by the time you get to the stops everyone else is ready to head off. I followed the maroon cruiser through the forest and with all that scraping he set a comfortable pace for me, (sorry can't remember your name) but cheers.

Big thanks to TL and Duc Girl for the place to rest our butts and heads, was greatful not to have to ride all the home that night! You guys rock! Can't wait to see you down this way and reurn the favour.

Thanks to custard opps Qkkid and Qkchic for organising such a great ride. Not sure who's idea it was to call Sharkys and let them know we were coming but it was yet another good call!

2much and Blackbird2 - glad there was fog ment I could keep up with you on the way up!!!

Anyhow I should leave it at that but could rave on about how great it was for hours!

Ride safe all! Will see you round the bend.

Well I had a great day and a stunning ride. I include my thanks to those who organized such a great day and didnt you do well with the weather. It was probably my fastest/longest ride ever and I really enjoyed trying to stay near the front runners. By the time we left Bayleys after lunch I was shattered and should have gone home for a nap instead of turning left to go North. Consequently I was real slow thru the forest etc and did not get home till 8pm but I still enjoyed myself immensly. It was great to catch up with those of you I talked with and I was real impressed with them out front. The poor old Beemer does not have that sort of HP to keep up but it was fun watching the various techniques, wheelies and general skill levels. It all helps my learning curve. Is it just Whangarei people that are insanely fast or is it because you all know the roads so well? Probably both. Or does living in Whangarei make people go insane????? Hmmmm? Dunno!
Thanks to all and I hope to ride with you again soon ( if the bloody rain ever stops)
    Cheers

I'm one of the worlds best riders. I can wheelie, I can stoppie, I can stunt, hell I can get my shoulder down. I could keep up with Rossie if I wanted to race.

Then I go from bed to bike and somehow it all turns to crap.
