If it looks dodgey on the 7th we will be making a decision on the day @ 7am.
If we do postpone the ride, the rain date will be the 28th May.

You have a good point there Swanny, using the '2 groups' might have a blessing in disguise. If we send the fast group off then give it 5 mins it should give us a big enough gap at the other end eg: Petrol fills and lunchtime orders..........It's gonna be a bit of fun

but we will have to take it as it comes on the day

Try 500 (seen this at the odd Poker Run). 50 is fu*k all. Besides not all bikes will need fuel at the same stops, so just chill dudes.

Thank fuck for Hyosungs incredible mileage capabilities. With an estimated distance of 800km (suggested by Mr. TL Rider aka "Pink Socks") I will only need 2 - 3 fuel stops dependant on how fast I decide to ride my bike; warp speed or hyper terminal velocity.

Can I suggest the place we stop at for lunch be notified that 40 - 50 motorcycles will be rolling up? Maybe they'll provide us with a discount

Well I've just spent the last 1/2 hour catching up on all the posting on the thread

didnt think it had been that long between KB fixes

The weather up here is shite today so good thing it wasnt this weekend, besides gives me another week to get the TL back into reasonable working order for next Sunday.
Hey Qkchk what ya reckon about a bit of a prize giving at the end of the day? TL Rider and Nodrog are dreaming up some good ones as we speak, there's some pretty good ideas floating around.

not a bad idea. might end up waiting ages for the orders to go through from first to last.
and possibly scare the hell out of the food establishment.
