What's the road conditions like after all that bad weather lately?

If mother nature plays ball I'll see you all on Sunday

Hey Qkchk what ya reckon about a bit of a prize giving at the end of the day? TL Rider and Nodrog are dreaming up some good ones as we speak, there's some pretty good ideas floating around.
Yeah could be an idea - maybe the koha could help in that way.

hey swanny you got your you know what yet?
As I mentioned to Swanny in a earlier post:

If there is 2 groups - we can make a 5 min difference between the groups so when we pull up @ the gasser/lunch point there shouldnt be any trouble.

Already explained as per different thread. Becides Swanny, thats the benefit of not organising the ride, you should sit back and enjoy.

Not trying to but in or anything, but food is important (to me at least, which must be obvious )

    I was charged $3.50 for a pie today ... what a national disgrace !

What happened to the days of $1.60 steak and cheese pies.

EDIT: Just to put things clear. My previous post suggested that the amount of bikes attending be used to the groups advantage (i.e. Cheap food).

On the last ride, when custard had his crash,Sharkys had to get another staff member to come help with the food orders & there werent that many of us.
It would pay to give them a call.
Also have you got the main stops sorted?Maybe Paparoa, custard corner, dargaville (for quick gas stop),sharkys(lunch),opononi... something like that.
Hope the weather is like today next sunday,It is a minter this morning, cant wait.

    2 groups

who leaves first? slow or fast?

    1) fast leave first wait 10 secounds then slow group heads off. when we get to a destination slow group arrives five minutes later or less.

    2) slow group gets a 5 minute head start. fast group possibly overtaking the slow. or we all turn up at the same time. causing conjestions, petrol problems and or food.

so i take it senario 1 is the go?
