STICK WITH THE VFR800 OR 750 AS THEY 5 SPOKES LIKE THE REAR AS THE CBR600 IS THREE LIKE A VTR1000
DID THIS TO MY 99 BLADE, AS WELL AS A SINGEL SIDED SWING ARM ASSEMBLY AND WENT BACK TO THE 16 INCH

    Keep it 16".

Not worth changing to 17".....and you'll lose that "Blade heritage"

THE 16 WAS OK THE ONLY REASON TO CHANGE IS TYRE OPTIONS AND THE ABILITY TO USE SECOND HAND RACE RUBBER.
IF YOU PUT VARIOUS 16 AND 17 OOTIONS SIDE BY SIDE YOULL NOTICE THE HEIGHTS ARE ALMOST THE SAME, SOME 16" OPTIONS HAVE DIFFERENT PROFILES

Yip it's a tyre thing. SlickD has been quoted stupid prices for a 16" tyre.

I always get same price for 16" and 17" tyres from cycletreads...never have problem with availability and choices either. But then again, I always run Bridgestone....

Thanks for that Marmoot, I'll see if he's tried them for a price...
