I think they fit tyres. They deal with bikes, not large works of art.Originally Posted by Indiana_Jones

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
Check out what the bucket guys use. The road legal ones would be your likeliest choices for performence

Dunlop make a good range for the smaller bikes, shit hot ones like the TT900's (i think) why not just get some of the streetstock or bucket guys second hand, there's a few that race em on here, put up a thread asking for some 2nd hand ones, prolly cheap as chips $100 or so, if that, fitting is cheap if you know the right people.

just because the bike dont have much power doesn't mean you dont put on some good rubber?Originally Posted by loosebruce

my front dunlop was 225 fitted. proabably about the same size as your rear?

It's not the rubber mate, it's the rider. But i can see your way of thinking, but FYI Power's or 208's dont come anywhere near the sizes that can fit on an FXR or the likes of small bore bikes. They are great tyres and i can see why you'd suggest them, but the Dunlop TT (and GPR is you're 250/400 mounted) range is prolly the best out there for bikes like FXR's, RG's etc

If a TT900 in 90/90x17 is OK, I know a guy in Napier with a brand new one available cheap. He brought it in with a bunch of others for his bucket which turned out to have 18" rims.

Hey MSTRS how much does he want??
no worries. i kinda look for the best tyres available. same with my cars. sometimes i've had cars with tyres on it worth more than the vehicle. but yeah, sizing is an obvious issues. i didn't realise that.Originally Posted by loosebruce
