    Arrow Squeeeky Front Brake

    Hi all,


    Just a quicky..dont get excited

    I have had back and front brakes replaced a week ago now is it normal that the front one is squeeeking and when i just touch the front brake it goes away but then comes back until i do it again
    They work fine as i found out yesterday while fishtailing on the hutt road

    Any ideas

    could just be the pads resting against the disc. It should calm down a bit.
    did you do it, or did someone else do it for you? Can you check that all the spring plates were put back etc?

    and for the record, I always get excited about quickies..

    I had it done at the shop Tappets, fork seal, both brakes,

    I may take it back on Saturday just to get him to take a look it was done in Masterton.

    Quickies are great especially the ones in the morning :-)

    could just be the pads bedding in. GO do another 100ks or so and see if they're still squeakin away..

    Will do..Travel over from Featherston to Wellington and is about 120k a day (Fantastic) so I guess i have done a few Km already.

    Probably was assembled without the correct grease, which is why you're getting vibration, which you'll hear as a squeal or squeak.
