Moussaoui was convicted of being part of a criminal conspiracy. He'd be treated the same here, except for capital punishment. He's protected by his Fifth Amendment rights in that he cannot be compelled to dob his mates in but if he's part of a conspiracy, then he faces the same ultimate charges and sentence.

Speaking up might have saved him from the conspiracy charge - after all 9/11 wouldn't have happened. Just a few criminal trials.
