Unless they're sucking it from the general duties or investigative pool... in which case it's two less cops and one less car catching burglars/rapists/murderers/real criminals.

    I hope it's Option 1.
It'll be the dumb arse's that can't get off a bronze driver rating that get the job.

Shit I can see it now. Vehicle plays chicken with the train and the cop cars exit the train carrages to give chase. 'Scene' that from a movie somewhere. What was it? Something Sundance Kid etc with Robert Redford and Paul Newman.

Be a perk job for the Boys though.

Best place to travel up there on the footplate. Great scenery. Train drivers are great guys well the ones that I knew in OZ were, and nothing to do most of the day.

If not I'd love to get a job as the cop that gets to follow the train. - looked like fun in the James Bond movies -

Yeah but you probably can't ride a horse, use a bow&arrow and don't have enough wampum to bribe the cops.

I can ride a horse - not too fast though. I can shoot a bow and arrow with a target hit accuracy of the US airforce in the middle east.

But yeah I'll need to get some wampum - can you lend me some from past bribes?

That's a lot of cops on trains then. Will they have their own carriages?
