Just got back from Music City. Nashville TN. Stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention centre. Great BIG, hotel!!!! Beautiful on the inside, it had gardens and fountains in a 40 acre resort. It was a giant biosphere. Welcome to a glimpse into how humans may be living in the future. Like a pheasant under glass. It was a site to behold for sure. After the convention we managed to sneak in a day of site seeing. Went to a couple of malls and went downtown to the Wild Horse Saloon. Too bad it was mid day. Apparently it is a swingin' place at night. Every place that may have a gathering in it has a live band or solo artist singing. We went to an ice cream parlour and there was a guy singing there. He was quite good. People were not as friendly and helpful as San Fran, but I can't expect everyone in the states to be as nice.

Lots of bikers downtown. Harleys galore!!!

It's a great place to have a convention but you must rent a vehicle because the cabby's try to rip you off and if you want to go anywhere it may cost you $60 plus one way.

I will go back again sometime but with hubby this time. So we can party! Some of the people I travelled with were a bit stuffy and boring. Didn't want to do anything.

Have a nice day all.
