Can we just kidnap him? Or beg to come over here and sort things out...
I was outraged yesterday to read that a criminal was let go because the judge has decided that conviction "would hurt his future".
"People are stupid ... almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule

Well, the whole "sue your neighbour before he sues you" thing going on in the US is crazy in it's own right.

I'm not saying that the man is a saint - there's no excuse not to treat not-yet-convicted suspects properly and if you do so, hopefully someone will call you out on it.

That said, I'm sure most people would agree that the "if you don't like it, don't come back" mentality should be at the very heart of any prison system.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Don't split hairs, you know damn well that's not what I mean, I have read them and don't agree that it's as cut and dry as it makes out, apparently the CIA and George Bush planned september 11 too........don't believe everything you read......I don't agree with some of the things he does but shit it sounds like a freakin good deterrent to me - and inhumane conditions for those animals in prison - sounds like a good idea.

Ime on the Neighborhood prison committee,The prison dept purchased another 100 acres so the inmates on lesser charges ie drunk driving smokin a joint etc.could run the market gardens learn to run a piggery etc.etc.The whole shebang was stopped dead in its tracks, and the ground leased out .YA know why? Because the bloody goody goody two shoe two% percenters who seem to run this country,;it violated their human rights to work, even tho they were paid for gods sake. All the good work that is done for the country by those that care is turned into shite by these whingers ,and guess what count the number of welfare babies that the majority of the 2% carry on all these marches with their dumb arse attitudes.Geeez if Joe came here theyd have him in pink.

I've read the complaints, He's still one of my favourite people. What _really_ needs to happen is to put people like him in charge of our prisons, and at the same time make legislative changes so that prisoners have only very limited "human rights".
