    1st Qual at Qatar MotoGP

Just had the good fortune to watch the first qualifying session at Qatar live on Eurosport... these guys have it great over here for motorsport!!

    Surprises in store here though...

    1. Roberts Jr 1.56.905
    2. Stoner
    3. Melandri
    4. Edwards
    5. Capirossi
    6. Rossi
    7. Pedrosa

Seems TKR built a completely new frame around the new RC211V engine since the last round and now Jr is right on the money.

Unfortunately for WT and all you Spewzuki owners, Vermuelen and his mate are right off the pace, not even in the top 10.

Well well well look whos back! And still full of it. 1st qualifying is merely a warm up exercise. You know a spewzuki!!! will be on pole!

About as much chance of that as Roberts keeping pole.

Those X 250GP guys are the ones to watch. Probably have better riding habits than others that have been riding the MotoGP bikes for a few seasons.

    Go Casey!!

Mwahahaha... well this will cheer you Suzuki losers up a little bit.

Final Qualifying for tomorrows MotoGP just finished and here are the front three rows

    1. Stoner 1.55.683
    2. Capirossi
    3. Elias
    4. Hayden
    5. Pedrosa
    6. Rossi
    7. Gibernau
    8. Edwards
    9. Roberts Jr

and... yes, I think the Spuzukis just came across the line and they're now looking for some camel power toget them home... it'd be quicker after all.

The European commentators are really talking up Stoner and see him as a big prospect for the future. What with him, Pedrosa and the likes coming into the ranks, the series is looking pretty good for the next few years even if Rossi does take off for a year in F1.

But if your into any race sweepstakes, the commentators reckon Rossi has a better race pace than all of them for this weekend, so it could be a familiar sight on the top step come tomorrow afternoon.

BUT... I will not announce the results on here as I know you lot don't get the tapes till the horse and cart arrives ;-)

and Jimbo, stop BS'ing and get my bike ready for next weekend ;-)

HI FOLKS. I have the good fortune (well, I organised it this way) to be in Qatar after business in Saudi Arabia.
I will be at the GP tomorrow.
    Yeeeehaaaa
Come back to NZ after that.
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

Mate your bike needs tyres and it has fucked fork seals. I've been stunting on it a bit. But don't worry it still looks OKish
