I used to have this saying about leftovers. "If it's going to go to waste, it may as well go to mine!" Of course it did, and now I'm struggling to reverse the process!!! Seriously though, good on you for beating it and hope you find the story telling cathartic. Don't personally know of anyone with or having beaten it, but with a wife and two daughters I have some understanding of the issues you face(d).

Yes, eating dosorders are a mental illness, but that does not preclude Edbear from having some understanding of the issues. Eating disorders are insidious, I can see where Edbear is coming from.

    Well done SG.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

yea.. sorry to offend the PC Brigade..

i am glad you beat the problem, but at the end of the day.. eating disorders are a self-inflicted illness, much like alchoholism, drug abuse, smoking or jogging...

no offence man but thats just asking for it........

    ill start it off

    were you a cutter to?

    ediT

an were you a over eater or non eater?

an very few people actualy die from over eating or not eating, most people still live who have eating disorders, its probably a differnet mental one that sends you off the bridge or in most cases of ED females, a box of panadol, but then most survive after a stomach pumping, just fuked your liver for life. but hey. a fuked liver might weigh a few hundred grams less than a good liver!

No probs......I guess, when you really think about it, we all have compulsive disorders but ED generally tends to be a peer pressure thing and society does have a lot to answer in some cases......

KB is a compulsive disorder I guess for some but not one of the majors.......

I mean I self inflict myself by going to Church.........Mr Finn would say.....

    Where does it stop.........??
