LOL Na mate, it's a minor issue with the R6. I was practicing some wheelies at Merimeri on it, when the engine started making some real nasty clunky noises... I'm like, "fuck me! I've done the valves on yet another bike!"

Then someone pointed out to me that one of the engine mount bolts had fallen off! I'm thinking "phew..." and I hoped and am hoping that that's what was making that horrible noise.

I tried to put another bolt there, but the actual engine block seems to have been stripped. So all I have to do is get a helicoil and she should be all set to go for Taupo! (Fingers crossed)

Yeah I'd love too but my bank balance isn't co-operating! I had hoped to do both but if it came to the crunch and I could only do one then I decided the VMCC day would be more bang for buck.

Don't worry, you lot will keep til next season

Still no entry form on AMCC website for 30th. Any one also know sign up time for 23rd track day?

    Taupo Test Day
By: phils on: Thu 13 of Apr, 2006 [01:36 UTC] (21 reads)

Just a reminder for the Test Day at Taupo on the 23rd. It is for MNZ license holders ONLY.

Bring your license on the day.

There will be NO day licenses issued.

Signon from around 8.30 with riders brief shortly after 9 and onto the track after that. We'll run through 15 minute sessions to give everyone as much track time as possible.

Cheers for that info. Either very early start from Auckland or a night in a motel somewhere near Taupo...

Or a matress in the back of the van outside the track gates for those of us on a budget

There are limited spots which were filling up fast (think its limited to 30 per class?) so rather than risk travelling all the way down there for nothing you may be better of confirming first.

    Here is the entry form:

Considering the Vic club has huge F2 and F3 fields I wouldn't be surprised if those classes are already full.
