Interesting day for a ride, what with the rain bucketed down as I left. Fine for most of the ride, buit surface water in the odd place here and there. Hope you heal up soon postie. Thanks to some good spotting by Pete(?) and Zaph's tools I tightened my chain up a fair bit. Was a good ride, and I'd lov to do it again in the dry, thanks Andy.

Draco just a reminder, brake light.
Speed limits are just a suggestion, like pants.

    Cool

Postie - sorry to hear of your accident that happened yesterday.

I'm pleased to hear that you will only be off the bike for 4-6 weeks

Rest up and do as the DR's tell you...

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

thanks Crashe, but the Drs only said it would take 4-6 weeks to heal, they didn't say anything about not riding for 4-6 weeks.

UMMMMMMMMM I think that they mean NO riding until it is healed.

If in doubt go back and ask the dr to tell you WHEN you are allowed to ride again after this injury... cos he/she will give you a time limit.

Are you likely to be needing physio as well?

Not worried past injuries (leg), cos we know what they would say about that one.

I would hate for you to start riding too soon and stuff up your shoulder/collarbone for life......
