    Hi Everyone! (Webhed)

I've just joined the forum. I've only been riding for 6 months, having graduated from a car becuase of the price of fuel!

I'm still on my learners, and plan to go to my full licence in another four months. At that stage, I'll trade my VTR250 for either a VT750 or a Kawasaki VN800. I really can't decide. Whatever I get, I'll be using it as my only mode of transport, so it has to be good on long trips as well as about town.

Anyone have any preferences between these two bikes?

Welcome to K.B, Webhed. Just enjoy the VT250 for now and see how you go. Plenty of time to get advice on another bike.

    Welcome Webhed!

I too have a VTR250, and am pondering the shift (when the time is right) to a VTR1000 - probably at the end of this year, you never know what surprises may be in store from the manufacturers this year...
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

Thanks for the welcome everyone. It's a great site.

After being in a car for so long, you don't realise how crazy (and ignorant) the drivers are out there. I ride to work, and every day I have a close call. I reckon it's just a matter of time before someone dents my ride...

But, hey! The other riders are friendly out there too!

    Welcome matey.

Might be cause Im extremly tired, but how are you planning on graduating from your learners to full in 4 months?

    Thumbs up

From one new member to another -Welcome.

I too was wondering how you were going to go straight to a full licence
However - I read your first post and I am assuming that you've had the Learners for 6 months and will do an advance riding course to speed up the restricted process... Is that right? Let me know how you go as I am not to far off my restricted.

    Stay safe.

    Cheers
