Indeed....
I actually advocate the opening up process... standing up and saying you've got a problem really is the first step in moving past it... but it's usually a good idea to do that in a secure environment filled with people who have had / still have the same sort of problems.
This is why groups like Alcoholics Anonymous were formed, to get people a secure environment in which to work on their problems.
So whilst I applaud the lady in question for coming out about her problem, I feel that she could have done it in a more appropriate place, and thereby saved herself a lot of stress and bother.
