    Pretty cool contact sync app

bit skeptical about all this stuff myself, being all the scheming and spamming is out there.. So I've set up a small 'test' part of my contacts, and installed Plaxo to sync my address book between my mac at home and mac at work, since they're both miles out all the time. Cool thing is, it'll work with windoze too (was originally for windoze) so it won't matter who ya hate.

Anyway, it's a cool app for me, and I know a few others have similar probs, plus, when you join, you can invite others too, so everyone stays in contact. neat huh?

oh, and it's free too.. luv free stuff

The above makes as much sense to me as the Engrish instructions on a Korean toy.

Had a play with it too. Its not as bad as I first thought, but then again, I don't have alot of contacts.

computer at home synchronizes your computer at work and vise versa, via the web, and this app does it. Then the numbers you have at home, are at work, and any numbers from work you want at home.

Despite working in IT and investigating the security and datamining aspects of subscribing to Plaxo and deciding that it's actually a pretty useful tool, with less likelihood of ending up on a mailing list than nerely joining up with a NZ operated ISP, I got SUCH a public reaming on a mail list from another IT guy, I haven't been able to bring myself to keep up to date.

You would probably be able to understand it better if it was written in english. Try replacing sync with synchronise, mac with junk computer, windoze with windows, apps with applications, probs with problems etc.

What's really suprising is that Hitcher allowed all these changes to our language to pass without comment.

shrug i just use my laptop which goes to work with me then comes home with me.

Outlook 2003 for 3 work email address, and then mozilla thunderbird for my 7 personal email accounts.

    no syncing needed.

Although they may look vaguely humanoid, Geeks are a different species. And largely beyond help or hope when it comes to language...
