    Movie recommendations?

The thread on movie scenes made me think of what movies we might have missed and are worth watching.

This topic was last posted in 2003 so have a look if you like. http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ghlight=Movies

Anyway, I use the IMDB site http://www.imdb.com/Top/ for ideas. I'm pleased to say I've hired DVDs I'd never have thought of and discovered some great films.

To start off and in no particular order:

    Slingblade
    Run Lola Run (Lola Rennt)
    Memento
    Donnie Darko.

    Enjoy.

none of those are really any good. Napolean Dynamite isn't bad. But you couldn't really call Saw or House of Wax movies - let alone good ones.

Well it depends what you're into. I'm into comedy and horror. Maybe you're into different things. But that's your choice...

Jay and Silent Bob strike back (really funny)
Vanishing Point (The original 70s version not the 90 remake, that movie altered my perception totally)
    Mambo Italiano (really funny too)
    Two Lane black top

    Try those!
