Thanks for organising that TL Rider. That's the longest ride I've ever done in one day. Left home at 6:40am, got back home again at about 8:40pm!

It was an interesting day. After 2 years of motorcycling and maybe 8 years of driving a cage, I got my first speeding ticket. $400 (which is going to be split between me and justsomeguy since the cop said one of us had to own up to the ticket or he'd give us both tickets) 50 demerits, and 1km/h away from walking home. Ouch!
The oncoming traffic had been flashing it's lights at us (me and justsomeguy), so we slowed down and there was a camera van on the side of the road. So we go past it and begin to speed up again and lo and behold, there is a cop sitting on the next straight... Crafty bastards. (I'm sure I've read of them doing this before on here... should've remembered).

Later in the day me and John missed a turn off and ended up in Pataua North. We headed back to Whangarei and then up to Russell where everyone else was heading and luckily met up with the group at a gas station on the way.
The rest of my ride was event free and by the end of the ride I felt like I was getting used to the bandit and back into the groove after not riding on the open road in several weeks.
It was interesting riding back in the dark. Cheers for the company on the way back, ukbandit.

Duc-Gurl, did the footpeg hold up ok on the ride back?

You forget what we ride - really makes me wish I had a bigger bike. You should have seen the conditions - open road, NOTHING in front - clear visibility - we could have done 300kmph safely.

Anyway - I need some advice regarding demerit points can someone please PM me.

    Cheers,
    JSG.

    Lovely. Just Lovely.

Like that fucktard in the late model BMW who tried his best not to let me past but failed. Then low and behold, who came through the intersection with a flat tyre, Mr. Fucktard. The tosser even made his wife get out and check it before he dragged himself out in shame.

    Road Karma. Bitch.

Mate I told ya we had it all, mind you I also told ya we didn't have any cops too!!
But hey when ya warn people about the fact a cop has just gone ahead and to look out for a specific car...colour/model/even rim size...what else can ya do?
The TL will be fine thanks to the blokes that sorted it whilst I was doing my eluding trick from a certain f-knuckle....muchly appreciated. Bruised pride more than anything for D-G.

You nongs didn't speed on Ruakaka/Waipu Straights did ya Cause if ya did then ya deserve ya tickets. That's a very cop heavy road that. Have counted 5 cops between Brynderwyns and Whangarei along those straights. Please tell ya weren't that stupid.
