    Qatar MotoGP *SPOILER*

Bloody hell...fell asleep during the four strokes...woke up just as Rossi was climbing on to the podium. He had a good start though, and awesome to see him do his usual trick of starting back a bit and then instantly cutting in to the opposition. Seems he did his other usual trick of taking the lead late on and opening up a wee gap too.

250 race had a nice battle for the win.

Got to sleep before hand and wake up for the race next time.

Funny isn't it, the new guys take the lead early and the commentators talk them up, 'oooh Rossi better watch out etc etc' only for the new guys (so it would seem) to ride too hard in the early laps and destroy their tyres. Kind of like sprinting the first 2 km of a marathon. Sure, you're in the front but for how long?

A pretty standard Rossi weekend, not a good qualifying, works his way to the front, slips back to 2nd to check his opponents form, retakes the lead and stretches it to a win - excelent, total mastery. But man,was he ever happy with the win! I notice he's keen on getting a good start these days to,too much of a risk with those guys getting away.Stoner had the flu, maybe cooked his tyres too,but him and Pedrosa are going to really shake this season up....so are the Ducati's.Suzuki suck, somebody should of given Hopkins a chainsaw so he could express himself fully.I hope KR Jnr can redeem his self, for his father's sake atleast.

Nicky Haden hasn't got what it takes to win.
He's a Settler. Happy to settly for a poduim finish. Sure he gave it one shot at the end, but it didn't stick, so he gave up,, again! He doesn't have the Rossi 'Drive' to be a winner.

    You heard it here first.

If he didn't have a burning desire to win he wouldn't be there,he'd be like you, telling others how it's done safely at home.Hayden is one of the top 5 riders in the whole damn world,he's good enough alright....but there's somebody out there who's able to find that something extra.

Yup, I'd agree with that. I'm sure all the riders in the premiere class have the desire to win.

There is a valid point there tho. Sometimes once they get a good sponsorship package they seem to sit back and just drive round. Few of em seem to actually want to mix it up and race anyone.

Just saying it how I see it.

Looking for some lively debate, rather than Rossi back patting all the time.
Prove me wrong Nicky! and the game will be all the better for it.

Yeah, I tend to agree, I think this is one race that Hayden may look back on and feel is one that got away. Think he had the chance to really put some pressure on Rossi, who has been known to crack from time to time, instead its almost like he thought second was a good result. If he had managed to beat Rossi head to head, would really have given him and the Honda team confidence. Especially as Rossi has been struggling with the bike setup so far this year.

My tape ended at lap 7 or so. I saw the Suzuki kicking incident
It looked like he may have hurt his foot, fell to the ground mid-kicking. Rossi has taken Biaggi's sponsor me thinks, rub it in!!!!

    I was THERE! Awesome!!
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

That cracked me up when John Hopkins got angry as and threw a tanty... He has done it a few times in BSB as well... But i think it was well deserved this time he was in the top 15 before the bike stopped...
