South of the South, of the South

Bluff, what a magical town shoved down the bottom of the south island. Swarming with sand flies and the smell of squid and sex. A few of you know that I buggered off to the South ISland for a couple of 4 months the other day. LOVIN IT! Got a ticket from the plods too
But I had a call from a mate in Auckland that was coming down for a "quick trip" of the south island. Asked me to come along, and why the fuck not? It's not like I'm doing a hell of a lot.
Hokitika to Christchurch and stayed the night there.
From Chrustchuch we drove to Dunners, did some shopping. Chinese food is yuck in dunners, nice town. Full of gunts and not hot guys. Was very dissapointed. We headed out of Dunners to the world famous (gay) Gore, nice fish by the way. Invercargill, don't think I have ever seen so many boganfied utes in my life! Bluff... I reccomend Bluff to anyone.
Turned up there at 8pm managed to find wicked accomodation and a great pub (bay view hotel) to have a drink in. No trouble at all in the pub even when I told a punter to go into the mens to see if his nuts were sagging enough to shove up his arse. I'm sure I made some friends that night.
    Anywho.
Bluff, Queenstown, Wanaka, Hasst and back to Hoki. Mate, that's the most beautiful highway I have ever seen. State highway 6 i think it is.
Yeah bloody good trip, no cops from wanaka to hoki, kinda wish I took the bike, but glad I didn't. Rained for about 400kms.
My quick 72 hour trip of the south island.

Glad your having a good time chick! We miss you though!

I take it that the bike is treating you well! Bad luck with the ticket, maybe you need to read madboy's beginners guide to runners thread...

Would recommend for next time, the "Gore avoidance" route

Clinton-Mataura (or reverse) - either way, an awesome road when they are not digging it up every summer

Gotta watch for the local Dibble in Clinton though, the 50K limit is rigourously enforced there

I have plans to complete a South Island Safari next Summer... cant wait!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

Come on guys... Gore is cool as! Not everyone there is gay! I lived there for 6 years and I turned out ok... I have 10 fingers and 10 toes!! (unlike a boy in my class when I was about 7!)

Glad to hear you had a great time down there... I just got back from Chch myself... I miss it already!

A nice write-up, NC. The less said about sex in Bluff, probably, the better.
