Surface was quite dirty, quite a tight narrow road, very twisty. Maybe later in the day it would have been good, but I wasnt warmed up enough.

Good report! And some good distance covered too!

Shame the Coromandel-Whitianga part of the "Loop" was wet for you
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

Real shame about that Coro to Whitianga part guys.
It's been confirmed by many a biker that this particular stretch of road is the best in the country for motorbikes.

I personally love this section of seal but being wet, sure does put a dampener on it.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

I was still enjoying it. I was going quick enough to pass cars. As usual there was a cock in H$V who thought he was a man and he sped up when I got closer. Got past him when we both caught up with slower cars. I was having a bit of a play and managed to spin up the back tyre on corner exit semi-on-perpose a couple of times. Made me sure I was going to get another set of these tyres again.

While not blowing my own trumpet or anything, but would have to say that nothing on 4 wheels went faster than me this weekend (2300kms). Couldn't even find anyone to sit behind that would sweep for the cops.
