Good work resisting following that waste of oxygen into his game Cola! You were the bigger man there mate no doubt!

There is such a thing as Karma, that brain surgeon will get his mate don't you worry. He'll bate the WRONG person one day mark my words.

I had a friend (not quite the right description) who was a mensa candidate like that and he accidentally bated a nastier guy one night and got rather fucked up.

The bigger man won on the day. Like what Paul said, you can stoop to his level, but can he reach up to yours? Don't think so. Making an assumption here, but I suppose our communal taxes funded his legal aid bill? Excellent - just what we pay taxes for.

col, you did what a good man does - put his family first.
the harder road, i'm sure, but you did the right thing.
i totally understand that "empty" feeling afterwards though.

    Emotionally draining situation!

I feel better now, just had to get it out. Thanks for reading this load of shit.

Good post Colapop, I have some idea how you feel when faced with an opportunity to square the deal with some bastard that has been fucking with your family.
I came face to face with the bastard that had been molesting my boy, in the corridor of the court house!
You wouldn't believe how much information can go through your head in those few seconds!
I took a deep breath and entered a door on my right and ended up in a bloody broom closest or something and just stood there and shook.
After a while I came out and he was gone, it was a very emotionally draining experience.
When I went back into the court I had to pass all his supporters to get to my seat, so I stamped as hard as could on all their feet.
Small revenge but fuck the bastards.
You did well to stay cool , He will keep, we will get our revenge!
I hope everything goes well for your sister and her kids. Cheers John.

    You done good today, Col.

I may be an atheist, but I believe in kharma. Someday, someway, the prick will get his. And you can smile enigmatically and nod knowingly.

You live in Welly don't ya?

If you wanna take some aggression out, let me know........
I know a few pressies rugby teams that are short of players.
I find rugby gives me my weekly allowance of agressive flow just fine.

Well done for not getting out of control, sometimes it's good to let the aggression out - It's about the time and the place.

Well done CP and big ups to your sister for the way she handled a very dangerous situation. Smart girl! Good on Women's Refuge too. I know first hand about this type of situation, 'cept it was my daughter and her first husband. Long story.I even had an offer to "top him", turned it down. Does things to a man when he comes home to find his daughter hiding in his wardrobe... Now, though she has remarried a man I'm proud to call my son-in law. Took her years to learn to trust any man again, though. HArd as it was, you did right.

Hope the wanker eventualy tangles with somebody meaner than him.

Good on you for the self control - the kahrma payback to loser-boy will be even more nasty because of it.

Sounds like a few losers I've 'met' - sad thing is they're too effing thick to realise what a loser they really are - and to realise the rest of the world saw them as a loser all the time. (except for a few equally 'tarded slack jawed moth breathing benefit bludging oxygen stealing 'mates' who hyuk-hyuk around with them)

I'm much clamer now than I was yesterday. Here's me whinging about how I feel about things and yet it's not me that had to live through all that shit. She still has to deal with the ongoing aftermath and fear and trust issues etc.

I know in custody disputes it's not always this "easy" or at least easy for the judge to decide what's best. In this case I think the judge had seen or knows of the f*ckwit from other cases. It's done with now and hopefully she can move on and get things back to normal.

If you or someone you know is in a situation that they feel unsafe in or fearful of their partner, get out or help them get out. The only power these animals have is the power of control. Once they don't have control over someone their power is lost and they are shown up to be the sad little individuals they are.

    Cheers all
