You're an honorary bloke - you've got good taste in bikes.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

You'll have to try a bit harder than that. 1/10 for that feeble effort.

Owning a purple, green and white bike, I was never going to colour match it

Even if somebody bought me the gear, I probably wouldn't... just nasty.

Instead, I ended up going completely black - including visor et al (that was the easy part) and hopefully the next bike will be black.

    lurve black

shuddup... I was tired of continually boiling

and as for the leathers, you are becoming more and more of a poser, the more you whine about it. I was never going to pay $300+ extra for potentially less protection...

    Gis us a hug twin

oh, ta for the price eh?? Motomail didn't feel like haggling, until I pointed out how much you paid

I'm one of those Blue/white Gixxer riders.....now complete with clashing helmet.

I used to have the blend in helmet, but it was to say the least - boring!

Besides, I went for a topline helmet, safety was my first consideration and I wanted something more personally appealing.
I believe you can get away with it as long as you have plain black leathers. (See my profile pic).

Rosie, Your missing the point, Kawasaki Green racing outfits let you blend into the veges section at the supermarket after doing runners on the parking wardens

In regards to the original post, I usually changed my bikes a lot faster than my helmets, and inevitably I would have used every cent I could get my mitts on to obtain said bike.
Color co-ordination was not a luxury I could afford.
Hmm, sets of tyres to keep the wheels turning, or a color co-ordinated helmet? It was never a hard choice

However, with unlimited funds and at somewhere like motomail, I'd definitely enjoy picking out good looking matched gear.
