    Actually if it is a Ti-Tech Rossi replica, which it possibly was from memory, you are looking closer to $1500. Half the value of the GN!!

    Still, it gave me a laugh so was worth every cent.

    Heck ... I could only afford a $300 lid but I would spend a hell of alot more if I had the $$$, not that it guarantees your going to survive a bad event. An old riding friend always use to say that he thought his head was worth than anything he could ever pay for a lid. In other words, its nothing to do with the bike... its either a smart safety move, a borrowed lid or perhaps the parents paid for it??? Or perhaps their other bike is a Borough Superior???
