    For Canterbury:
Heavy rain in the Alps from tonight. Mostly dry further east, but some scattered rain at times tomorrow.

Looks like I'll have to take it easy through the passes then go like hell on your side to dry out

Heres a map with an X where i guess youd be meeting wether on the road or in the Hospital carpark.

Rain...rain... all that means is there be less dust on the dirt roads i'll be on.
See you all for lunch in Akaroa if i make it before you're all gone.

At the risk of sounding like a noob, I won't be going if it's wet, (or there's been substantial rain). My excuse is: new bike, new tyres.

The Norwester is blowing pretty hardout here, but its clear. If it keeps blowing like this there won't be any rain, looks rough up in the alps though

No wind at all in Heathcote. I'm not going BTW, just your friendly weatherman.

Turns out the weather was great! the ride there was good untill we were interupted by the 5-0 just before Akaroa, then on the way back the bolt that holds my clutch lever on decided it wanted to stay in Akaroa somewhere, so that was fun.

I had to leave early to get some stuff done at home but it was good to meet some of you, here's a pic of the turnout...
