    leaving ak tomorrow

    tomorrow morning we are off.
dam its like the day before christmas. but i am sure a few hours in the saddle should fix the excitement.
most of the gear is tied down to the bike already just need to fill the tank bag and i'm all good.
plenty of undies for when i pack myself, trying hard to put the secound duvet somewhere.

just being prepared for it, if it eventuates

actually i suppose I shouldn't have posted the chance there may be Hoar frosts because a certain Ginga ninnie won't want to go now
but on the upside if it does eventuate the scenery will be pretty flash though.

But I am looking forward to having a nice trip, maybe cold (but hotgrips will help with that...hehehe) ...but would be good to have sun and be able to see the scenery along the way, fingers crossed.

paturoa has the beans and the grinder and i have replaced my top pannier with the latte maker. i hope the power point is not too far away, and long as the filtered water is not too expensive it will be fine.

Paturoa who is bringing the latte bowls?

Latte bowls are with the Barista, she's riding pillion with Shayne.

Me thinks I don't need the duvet now, I could just plug the elekie blankie into the power point too.

The latest weather predictions for this weekend is for a northerly influence over the South Island. So that means mild weather, no ice and only a slight chance of a frost.

Our forecast is only up to Saturday morning at this stage. I'll update with more detail each evening until the Rally starts.
    Time to ride

sure you weren't a salmon in a past life ? coz your pretty easy to hook

Hoar frost is when the moisture form a heavy dew or fog freezes onto things remember Alexandra couple of winters ago.

And why should you be worried about getting cold you've got a bike with built in leg warmers

To all heading away from their home stations to venture south towards the rally & various ports of call along the way, travel safe & get there in one bit

Hi John. Will be scanning the crowd. A flag is good to look for, a hot chick (plus red headed guy) I am always pleased to spot. Are you planning a night out yourself? Kind regards
