*sniffs a DVD* Actually they DO have a scent. So, to all those that reckon they train drug sniffer dogs by getting them addicted to various drugs..... how does this work? Are the dogs addicted to movies?? hmmmm???

Plastic and Polyurethane most certainly do have a scent to an animal that can "see" more with its nose than we can with our eyes.

There's a bit of urban myth about this one. Detector dogs are trained by simple programming. They get rewarded for finding the "right" stuff and not rewarded for the "wrong" stuff. MAF's beagles find a lot of drugs but only get rewarded for dac busts, as it is plant material, which is what they're supposed to find (and eggs, birds, reptiles).

Eggzakery. Amazing how many people think drug sniffer dogs are addicted. So much for conventional wisdom.

No. Surprisingly they'd rather play with a rubber toy.
