Whangaparaoa to Parakai

On Monday I am starting a month long placement at Parakai Primary school where I will be assessed by my associate teacher and also a lecturer from my uni. Three days in a row full control... quite scary!

Being completely directionally challenged! I have no idea how to get there! I know it is by Helensville... Yet I don't know where that is! I had a look on wises and that was soooo confusing!

So I was hoping someone on here would have an idea!!

Oh and how long would it take? What is the traffic like in the morning? School starts at 8.45am

Whangarparoa go to Silverdale then go throu the two roundabouts (towards Diary Flats) at the second roundabout about 50 feet up on your right is Pine Valley Rd
Turn right into Pine Valley Rd.
At the intersection, turn right into K...................... Rd (can never pronouce it or spell it)
Follow that road til the end (real estate building on left at the corner)
(You will also pass throu Waitoki township on this road.)
Turn left SH16 follow that road all the way to Helensville. (Just after turning into SH16 is Peak Rd on your left - do NOT turn down that rd.)
Go throu Helensville township till you come to the roundabout...
Go Straight on up Do NOT turn left as that will take you to ak....
Parakai is just up that road, South Head Rd.... Hot pools etc.

Should you miss the Pine Vally Rd.. keep going til you get to the petrol station.. turn right into K........................... Road

Good luck... wont take you long to get there...

The only thing I'd change of Crashe's route is to turn right at top of Silverdale Hill onto Wainui Rd (opp BP) then all the way to end and turn right. This takes you on to Kahikatea Flat Rd at Waitoki and is a good way to geta buzz on first thing.

Well I got there fine! The directions given were great! I got a lil bit confused in Helensville! But just kept going and it was all good!

The problem arose when I was trying to leave.... I needed to go to the airport and I got sooooo lost and was late like 40 mins! Oh well!

BTW it is real easy to get to Auckland Airport from up your way...
and even from Helensville.

PS: I had to take the car up to Whangarparoa this morning....
I did look out for a slightly confused or is that bemused rider looking umm lost.
But since I never saw you I figured you had gotten there ok.

hahaha, you is a re-tard! I told you to stay on the main road, but no you turned off. If you had gone straight to westgate from kumeu you woulda saved yourself atleast 20mins
